Nakkila Works Oy has been granted the Safety Champions Award for its excellent safety performance in the Stegra Green Steel project. The award was presented for the Water Treatment Plant 1 project, where Nakkila Works Oy is responsible for the tank structures of the water treatment facility.

The recognition is based on systematic and consistent safety work carried out in demanding industrial environments. According to the award committee, the Nakkila Works Oy team has demonstrated strong commitment to a safe working environment, daily safety observations, and the sharing of expert knowledge in the construction of water treatment tanks.

A particularly significant achievement is that the project has been executed for a full year without a single accident at the Nakkila Works Oy site. This is a remarkable result in an environment that involves heavy and demanding lifting operations, working at heights and in confined spaces, as well as challenging steel construction tasks.
