Nakkila Works Oy heavily involved in sulphuric acid plant´s capacity increase project in Sweden

Nakkila Works Oy have entered into a contract with Outotec concerning equipment deliveries and site installations for Outotec’s project on the sulphuric acid plant at Boliden Rönnskär smelter in Skellefteåhamn, Sweden.

The scope of the contract includes manufacturing and site installation of needed towers, tanks and ducts as well as piping- and steel structure installations for the entire absorption expansion area.

The workhop manufacturing of the products is already ongoing and site installation will begin at early spring. The delivery scope is connected to the existing plant during a fall maintanence shutdown.
